An axe, embedded in a Soviet-style velvet cushion cast in bronze, right next to the Soviet war memorial on Szabadság tér. This sculpture is Kolodko's direct answer to a real incident: Kolodko had installed the Ushanka statue (a fur hat on the same cushion) in November 2019; on 25 November 2019 it was destroyed by Mi Hazánk MP Erik Fülöp, who threw it into the Danube, believing it to be a totalitarian symbol.

Rather than pursue legal action, Kolodko simply cast the politician’s axe in bronze and cemented it to the same spot. A stroke of genius: the act of destruction became the artwork itself. In 2023 came the next twist — the hat returned from the Danube, mutated with frog legs (see “Ushanka Returns”).
