Pinocchio, the wooden puppet from Carlo Collodi's classic, whose nose grows with every lie – here not an endearing children's character, but Kolodko's most pointed social commentary. The body is made of loose, bronze-cast pieces of wood, the limbs hanging limp. The statue hangs on a wall on the east side of the Tram 2 stop at Széchenyi István tér, near the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

Installed on 26 July 2026 – right next to the Academy, founded in 1825 by Count István Széchenyi, which stands for science and truth. Kolodko deliberately places this universal symbol of lying right beside it – a comment on how political communication can sometimes manage to crowd out scientific facts.
